Sincere condolences Alistair and Catherine, we have fond memories of Robin as an aeromodeller and competitor.
We remember also the meticulous builder he was who along with Alistair built our home in which we still reside.
RIP Robin reunited with your dear wife Claire.

My deepest condolences to Alistair, Catherine and family. A friend since the 70s at both Rotorua and New Plymouth homes. A great competitor and builder of model aircraft.

Passing on sincere condolences to Catherine, Alistair and family. We all know how much he will be missed.
His smile and at times grumpyness, along with those home brews that added to many night of crazy banter, and plenty of advice to share will always be a cherished memory.
Rest in piece now old friend, you have touched us all.

My condolences to the family of Robin. Even though it was some time ago I still have very good memories of us competing together. I will never forget the help, support and time that he gave me in my early modeling career

Where to start Robin? Absolutely one of a kind. You made me feel part of your family from day one and you kept in touch. We were messaging on WhatsApp just before you passed away and you were being your usual cheeky self. I had no idea that it was nearly the end. Your kindness and generosity is something I will never forget. Lots of love to Al, Catherine, Hannah and Geoffrey, and everyone else who loved you, as did I xxx

Very sad news, Ive known Robyn for 45 years, I was a regular visitor most every Easter since I was about 15 years old to attend the New Plymouth Easter Control line Champs until he no longer participated, many home brew beers were enjoyed over the modeling bench and so many good memories. I owe him so much for the support and knowledge he passed on. He will be missed. Rest in peace mate, your now joined with Claire now, rest in peace my friend.

My sincere condolences to Alistair and Catherine.
I always appreciated the time I spent with Robin during our time together as members of the New Plymouth Model Aero Club. Robin built my model Canberra for me when I was very busy at my TSB Bank job. I admired his craftsmanship when he began making American Indian canoes. Very skilful and beautiful looking. I will miss Robin, he was a genuine good bloke in my mind.
