Roy BLAKE Obituary

Following his courageous battle with cancer, sadly Roy passed peacefully in the arms of Jan and James on June 1st 2024, aged 68 years. Deeply loved husband and best friend of Jan. Loving, devoted and immensely proud father to James. Father of the very special and much loved eldest daughter Nicole, her husband Jock, delighted grandfather of Steven, Jerome and Greer. Roy gratefully acknowledges the wonderful love and life provided to Nicole by her parents. Father to his loved middle daughter Laura (Perth). Treasured member of the Sutherland Clan and the Blake Whanau. Jan and James would like to thank family and friends for surrounding Roy with aroha and support following his diagnosis, and especially in his final days. We would also like to thank Dr. Richard Isaacs for his unstinting care, along with Taranaki Hospital staff and hospice for helping Roy through his arduous journey with cancer.
