To all the Jones family! So sad to hear of the loss of Sam! He was a legend already when I started at Taranaki Farmers in Pungarehu all those years ago! A lovely kind gentleman!

Sad to learn of Sam's passing. I worked with Sam at FCOS/Taranaki Farmers in the 80's . Sam had a very long career with livestock, and many memories .
One day at FCOS there was a clerical workers strike and it was end of month meaning we had to get the sales done, I rang Sam, and others, you need to help me in the office, I got Sam writing out cheques as it was a manual system,and yes we got it done about 10 pm that night. A variety of stock agents all gone now sadly but always remember Friday nights at the NP Club.

To all the Jones family we are saddened to hear the news of Sammy's passing. Gunna miss that cheeky smile. Was a great neighbour and friend. Love to you all. The Linn family

Our condolences to the Jones family on the passing of Sammy. Caught up briefly around xmas by chance and he still had that smile and chatted away. Whether it was rugby, tennis, golf or just a party at the Jones, Sammy was always upbeat and looking after or out for you.
