A young man in the prime of his life taken far too soon. So loved by his children, his sister and his parents. May God look after him till one day when he meets his parents and family again. Rest Easy Shane.

I knew Shane from Spotswood college.even though we lead different lives afterwards he would always say hi and have a chat if we bumped into each other. Rest in peace Shane

Valerie Hopkinson and Ginette Williamson are very sorry to hear about Shane. We met him at our church, New Plymouth Church of Christ. Shane was such a kind, gentle and helpful man. To Shane's parents, his family. His children, step children, relatives and friends and many more. He was a shining light in everyone's lives and we will always remember him. Please take comfort with each other at this very sad time.

Very sad to hear of Shane's passing .Memories of that Dive trip the 3 of us took to the Mercury Islands all those years ago when he was only a lad still at school.He was a very good diver for one so young but then he'd had a great instructor.We will all be thinking of you tomorrow
