I am so saddened to read this. Shaun was our neighbour. Always friendly and chatted to us whenever we saw him. A good guy! Gone way too soon!

I remember Shaun being so kind and so funny. He´d laugh way too loud at our teachers dumb jokes in high school. Which only made him that much funnier.
My heart goes out to all of you. He´ll be sorely missed.

Shaun, my friend and trainer for over 10 years. I miss you mate. You were always there to support me, even when you were troubled yourself. I wish I could have helped you more through yours. Thinking of your family, and especially your children. I wish I could have said goodbye. Always in my thoughts.

My husband and I firstly extend our sincerest condolences to you Jan and the rest of the family including all of Shaun´s beautiful children. I met Shaun through the gym he helped me get into shape for my wedding in 2011 and my husband and I were also at the celebration of Rhonda and Shaun´s marriage. I was personally in touch with Shaun on the Friday the 14th of April via Messenger and I´m happy to share this correspondence with you. My husband and I were very upset to not be able to have the opportunity to attend Shaun´s farewell as I´m sure a lot of others here are also. Shaun was always kind to us, we knew he struggled with his mental health but he did everything to try and be here for as long as he graced this earth with his presence. He will be sadly missed but thought of by us often.

I went to school with Shaun and spent many an hour working shifts at Farmers with him. I recall his great sense of humour, a smile that would light up his face, a great conversationalist and love of classic rock music. So sad to hear he is gone and my thoughts are with Shaun´s loved ones.
