Sheilah DOWNS Obituary

On Sunday 23rd March 2025, aged 86 years. Passed peacefully away at home. Dearly loved Mother of Andrea and Chris, Mother-in-law of Sarah, Grandmother of Kat, Tim and Peter, and Great-Grandmother of Ella, Imogen, Vera and Phoebe. Special thanks to "Toe" for her dedication and care of Sheilah and the support of the ambulance and Police who attended. A memorial service will be celebrated at Petone Working Men's Club, Udy Street, Petone on 11th April at 2.00pm, in the Anzac Room.

So sorry to hear of Sheila´s passing. Will never forget our labour weekends away in Taupo, on our fishing trips. RIP

Dear Family and Friends of Sheilah,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your precious Mum, Grandmother and friend.
Sheilah took me on as a very young Receptionist back in 1992 working for Exicom International. She taught me a great deal and I shall ever be so grateful to her. My time under her watch was joyful. She was an excellent Manager, very kind and endearing and I looked up to her with absolute respect. My only sorrow is that I did not keep in touch. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Kind Regards always Annemarie Wood
