ELGAR, Shirley Isabel
(nee Bloor):
Peacefully at Annie Brydon Rest Home, with her family by her side, on Friday 31 August 2018, aged 86 years. Loved and adored wife of Stan for 64 years. Dearly loved Mum and mother-in-law of Alan and Brenda, Gail and Paul Switzer. Loving Nana of Cameron, Clay and Jean, Ashley and Kahlivia, Kris and Helena, Mel and Chris and great Nana of Lincoln, Emma, Maddi, Chase and Cael. Loved sister of Merle (dec), Val (dec), Aileen (dec), Les (dec), Dawn, Jan, Rex, and Keith. In preference to flowers, donations to Taranaki Hospice would be appreciated and may be posted to: PO Box 5122, New Plymouth 4343. All messages to the Elgar family may be forwarded to Stan c/- Annie Brydon Rest Home, 79 Glover Road, Hawera. A service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at Wesley Methodist Church, Regent Street, Hawera, on Wednesday 5 September 2018, at 1.00pm. A private cremation will be held.
