Shirley Grace (nee Cleaver):
17.1.1935 - 21.9.2021
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Waikato Hospital. Loved wife of Ross for over 65 years and loving mother of Sandra, Bryce & Lynne, Paul & Faye. Loved gran of Hannah & James, Sophie, Ella, Phoebe, Lucy, and Maddie. Great-gran of Harry & Ted. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at Alexandra House Chapel, 570 Alexandra St, Te Awamutu, on Monday, 27th September 2021 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation. The service will be livestreamed, please contact funeral home for link. All communications please to the Scown family, PO Box 137, Te Awamutu 3840.

May I send my sincere sympathy to Shirley's family Having known her since she was living ,as a young child at Tokaora.and both of our fathers at the 1st world war together.then neighbours in those days Years later when I came to the Waikato I caught up with Shirley and we would ring each other occasionally.She was a very lovely Lady and i know you are very proud of her. Thoughts are with Ross and family. Shirley was my Godmother so I really am an orphan now. Was great seeing Shirley at Hawera High Centenary which is almost two years ago now!! Will be thinking of you all on Monday. Lots of wonderful memories of a lovely lady.
