I remember Steve ( Frosty) as a loyal mate if you ever needed a hand with anything he would be there, if ya wanted a chat he was definitely there. My memory's of frosty are good never a boring moment from being my roomy on a primary school field trip to being a workmate at Hawera Engineering frosty used to get me to order more food for him when he was on his weight gain/ turn it into muscle fab. He was also a awesome farming neighbour.
Frosty you will never be forgotten Miss your smiling face in the truck cab, and the long honks past ours.

Although I hadn't seen Stephen for many years, I have vivid childhood memories of spending fun times with him, Grant and the girls on the farm and at their place in Hawera. Stephen was older so I looked up to him and always thought he was pretty cool. To hear of this tragedy was truly shocking and my sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to Lance, Lois and the whole family. Scott (Betty Dawson's grandson).
