Thomas Young (Tom):
Passed away peacefully in the arms of his family in Hawera on Friday 23rd January 2015, aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of Leonie. Much loved father and father in law of Warren and Vicky (USA) Derek (Auckland) Luanne and Terry Cooper (Auckland). Dearly Loved granddad and great granddad to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Communications to the "Priest Family" C/o PO Box 520 Hawera 4640. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff and care givers at Brydon Court and Trinity for their loving care and respect afforded to our Father.
A service to celebrate the life of Tom will be held at Cleggs Funeral Chapel, 268 High Street, Hawera. On Tuesday 27th January 2015 at 11.00am. Followed by private cremation.

Tom Priest gave me my first job at Motor Specs at the tender age of 15. What a great man he was to all. I am forever thankful for his faith in me and the guidance I received.
