Tim HARLAND Obituary

I have just learned today of Tim's passing. I am so very sad to hear this. I have wonderful memories of Tim from the RSCM Choir Schools we attended in our youth and we last met up in New Plymouth a few years ago. He was a wonderful, gentle man who was clearly dedicated to his children and family. Forever in my memories, Tim I hope you rest well in the arms of the heavenly Father. Happy heavenly birthday to you dear Tim.

Always remember hanging out with Tim at the family home on Carrington St. We lived about 200 metres apart and we spent many hours doing what kids did then - getting out and about and experiencing the world around us instead of being stuck in front of a screen. I have wonderful memories of Tim doing Alpha courses together, learning as much as he could to develop a wonderful relationship with God. We always had great discussions together as we always seem to be on the same page. We.miss seeing him as chaplain at the hospital and some to talk to at St Marys.

Tim was an absolutely devoted father and his face lit up speaking of you Theo, Cooper and Azi, he was so very proud of you.
I will remember him as a good man, with complete kindness, his quick wit, strong faith, his ability to speak up if he felt injustice and the ease of which he could find connection with everyone he met.

Tim was very pleasant to talk to the few times we met.
