Timothy HALES Obituary

So sad, who do ask about bird noises and plants now, will miss you heaps my ol' mate.

I am saddened to hear that Tim has passed. I only met him a few times for work, but we did hit off a friendship that allowed me to continue our conversations outside of work. My condolences to his family.

I had an assocation with Tim back in the early 70s whilst in the Scottish Country Dancing club in New Plymouth.
A neat fun young man.
So sorry to hear of his passing at such a young age.

When I left school my first job was at the New Plymouth Radio Depot. I was as 'green as the grass' socially. For a reserved young guy like me, Tim was so much fun to work with. We talked about music. Sometimes we went out and about after hours. Carousing. Making a lot of noise and turning up at people's houses at night! It was always such fun and I learned a lot socially. A couple of years ago I was able to tell Tim of his positive influence on the younger version of me. Cheers, 'Timmy-Roo'. You were a good person. My thoughts are with Annie and family.

Condolences to Tim's loved ones. I've not met Tim since '78/'79 or so. ....Attended Devon School with him and we got about together in 3rd-form NPBHS, 1972. Tim's Honda 50 was the first motorbike I ever rode. Thanks for trusting me Tim.
