Tony TRUE Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 23rd February 2022, aged 91, after a sudden heart attack. Devoted husband of 54 years to Jan, and cherished father to Sonia. His big, generous heart finally gave out while doing what he loved, being in the garden. Service to be held at 2.00pm on Saturday 26th February at St Paul's Church, Opunake, followed by afternoon tea at the Opunake Bowling Club. Vaccine passes will be required to attend the service but everyone is welcome to the afternoon tea. Unfortunately, masks will be required during the service and numbers will be limited to 100.

Have just heard today of Tony's passing. All my sympathy and love goes out to you, Jan and Sonia. My time living with you at No. 10, PN, will always hold fond memories and a special place in my heart. Tony had a wicked sense of humour, was a true gentleman and a very special friend.

Jan I have fond memories of Tony's voice on the ambulance radio. He truely was one of life's gentlemen. His generosity and compassion for people was outstanding. Aroha from his former ambulance colleagues.

A very sad time hearing of Tony's passing. First met Tony 2 years ago when moved to Brennan place. Lockdown had happened and I walked down the road and Tony was out doing some weeding.
Such a nice man and Condolences to Jan and family. All our Neighbour's will be very shocked to hear the News. RIP Tony. Marie and Lloyd Brennan place.
