I am very sad & sorry to learn of Jock's passing. My condolences to all Jock's family. Jock was a kind, caring gentleman who loved the farm life. The beautiful roses & gardens were a credit to Doreen & Jock. I remember his passion for Taupo Trout fishing expeditions with his friends. I remember his pride of the Grey Massey Fergusson that sat at the back of the implement shed. Thank you Jock & Doreen for the many cherished memories when I worked at the farm. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

we have reached a page of a significant chapter of the Manaia and indeed the greater Waimate district. The mantle Trevor has so ably carried is now laid on the shoulders of you the next generation. The high standards and mana that he set now shift, and he has entrusted it to you the ongoing generation. So much history and experience was ensconced in this wonderful man, and you will sorely miss him. My sincere condolences to you Merilyn and Doug, John, Alistair, Bruce and all your family.
