To the Maxwell family, my condolences. Among many memories I remember Tui relief teaching us at Urenui primary; being a fierce opponent when playing her at Okoki tennis; being the hostess when I attended (with my Mum) a Rural Women's event at your house; and more recently talking with Tui at Mum's funeral 2 years ago. My thoughts go out to you all.

Dear Mrs Maxwell,
Our early childhood and primary education began at Urenui Playcentre and Primary. We were always reminded as to how important those first years would be. We were very lucky and extremely grateful in that we struck the Trifecta at Urenui Prinary, Mrs Dunbar, Mrs Hunter and yourself. The best of the best. We done good and thank you Mrs Maxwell.

We were saddened to hear that Tui had died and send big hugs to all the family. We have fond memories of Tui and we´re always grateful for her kindness to Matt, especially when he and David made huts on the Okoki riverbank and camped out whitebaiting. Tui always came to the rescue with hot showers and huge feeds of bacon and eggs! Matt adored her.
