Another beautiful soul has left this world, your cooking skills will be missed, your sense of humour, and your willing hands when needed the most, rest well dear friend.

Val was a wonderful neighbour and friend. She will be sadly missed by her neighbours at No´s. 7 & 8.

So sorry to hear of passing of valda Herlihy I was her support lady from Omahanui Home Care went every week to do her house work will miss our lovely chats and your lovely smile my condolences to valda family will be sadly missed

Our very sincere sympathy to all of Val's family, on behalf of all of Thelma Anderson's family. We treasure the memories of Val & Mum being 'neighbourly' for all those years, and them having big discussions about their families. I know Mum will be having a huge catch up with Val about all that has gone on in the past few years. Precious memories xx

My memories of Val will always include those wonderful chutneys and fruit cakes but most of all, her smile which seemed to always accompany her everywhere. A very special lady. Rest in Peace Val.

On behalf of present and past members of Manukorihi we send the family our condolences to the passing of our Life Member Val.
Was a great stalwart of our club and will be missed. After her golf days were over she still called out and had lunch on a Tuesday after we had played. Her annual Christmas cake she made for a raffle was always very much appreciated. Farewell Val R.I.P.

Sorry to hear of Valdas passing. She had a zest for life and loved helping others. She certainly was a great help to my mother during the late 60's early 70's.

I went to school with you Vicki. Do you remember the time a few of us went home to your place for lunch. My brother caught me and told the nuns. I got into a bit of trouble for that but i enjoyed it. Your mum had been making candles that day.

Saddened to hear of Aunty Val's passing . She was a busy and loved women. My thoughts with Chris and Vicky. Steven ( Nephew) and I valued her outlook on life. Our children also.

I have many memories of Valda when I came to New Zealand back in 82. She was a family friend. Sorry to hear of her passing and she will be missed by many
