Valerie HILL Obituary

Passed away with family at her side on Friday 7 July 2023 at Annie Brydon Lifecare, Hawera. Aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Roy. Treasured mum and mother-in-law of Gavin, Carol and Bob, and Dale and Tony. Devoted nana of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special sister of June (dec), Jeanette, Johnny (dec) and Ian. A service to celebrate the life of Val will be held in the South Taranaki Funeral Services Chapel 268 High Street, Hawera, on Thursday 13 July at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation. The family wish to offer sincerest thanks to the staff at Annie Brydon the love and devoted care shown to our mum and nana.

So sorry to hear of the loss of dear Mrs Hill, she was a lovely lady and so kind to me over the years I have been her gardener.
Thinking of all the family at this sad time, treasure all those beautiful memories of Mum.
Apologies that I couldn´t make her funeral as I have just flown home from Australia.

My sympathy goes out to all the family of the sad passing of Val. She was a lovely lady. We had a few fun times together in Australia & also when I first came to town as I rented a house that her sister had owned. Val is at peace with her loved one now. Sorry I can´t be at the funeral. RIP Val
