Valerie Jean (Val):
Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital, surrounded by family, on 25 April 2023. Loved wife of the late Bob. Cherished mother of Debbie, Gavin, Helen, Jo, and Luke. Treasured Nana of Vanessa, Paige, Zach, Tyla, Ashleigh, Josh, Peyton, Ruby, and Olivia. Beloved sister of Bill, Verna, Cherry, and Murry. In preference to flowers, please consider a donation to St Johns Taranaki. Messages to Val's family may be left on her tribute page at eagars.co.nz/valerie A service to celebrate Valerie's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 172 Lemon Street, New Plymouth, on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.

Val, Thank you for being an amazing Nana to our girls. You loved your grandkids with such a big heart. I am grateful for the Nana you were to them.
Debbie, Gavin, Helen, Jo and Luke I am so saddened for you all. I remember so well the days with Bob when the house was full and filled with love and laughter. Val you were always there for our kids and so proud of their achievements. Rest easy with Bob and your friends who have gone before you.
