RIDING, Valerie June:
28.09.1930 - 20.08.2016.
Passed away peacefully at Kohatu Rest Home, surrounded by her family. Dearly loved mother of Noeline and Wally and of the late Johnny. Cherished Grandmother of Leah, Wayne, Phillip and Kelly, Michelle and Jeromy, Walter and Terri-lee, Julie and Tracie, Leanne, Great-Grandmother of Nathaniel, Kerisca, Christopher, Jacob, Mineata, Tamara, Dominic, Siarra, Arnika and all her extended grandchildren. Known by many as 'The Waitara Flower Lady'. Will be sadly missed by all. The family would like to thank the staff from Kohatu Rest Home for their wonderful care. Valarie's service will be held at the Taranaki Crematorium Chapel, Junction Road, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, 24 August at 2:00pm.

My condolences to the Riding whanau for the loss of your loving mum/grandma, and yes she was always out in the garden picking and giving out flowers,enjoyed her company when she visited at the Mould Street Depot (WISE)a few years ago
