Vida HENRY Obituary

I trained as a teacher-librarian with Vida many years ago. We had great times together, loads of laughs and many evenings dining out in Wellington restaurants with "the group". I remember those years with a smile and send my condolences to Natasha, Kurt and Kevin.

Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with you Kevin on the sad passing of Vida she will be missed by you and all her family it was lovely that we got to know her over the past few years regards from us both.

Thinking you of Natasha, Kurt and Kevin as you farewell Vida. Please know that you are in our thoughts.

To Kurt and Natasha, so sorry to hear about your Mum. She was a lovely lady and a wonderful teacher. I still sometimes pull out her relaxation movements that she got us to do while lying on the floor of her classroom all those many many years ago. She was certainly a teacher ahead of the times. Thinking of you both and sending love.

Vida, you persevered with Craig's speech therapy at Stratford Primary School. He respected you for you patience as he often told me. RIP

My deepest sympathy to Vida's children. She was a wonderful friend to me in the 6th Form at the New Plymouth Girl's High School. She had a sister called Fiona also there.

I met Vida while working backstage at Cue Theatre, such a lovely quiet person who knew how to fix anything as BackStage Manger for many plays she was involved in. She is always in my memories when at Cue - the fun times that we had "BackStage"

A school friend from very early days, just around the corner in Seaview Road, Vida was a talented all-rounder who made her parents very proud. Remembered with affection by Ellie (Lander) Henderson.

Thoughts are with you Natasha and Kurt a sad time loosing your mum. Vida was a good neighbor and thoughtful person.

Vida was a long standing member of the Cue Theatre in Inglewood and part of that dedicated group that brought magic to the stage in both the old and new theatres. I, personally, loved working with her and whenever possible, always claimed her as my Stage Manager. You just knew that you were in safe hands and I'd like to think that she is standing backstage now ready for a performance we can't yet comprehend, but in safe hands. Break a Leg Vida, and thank you.
