A lovely lady who I'll always remember as I drive past her house. Whenever I met her she always asked after my boys. Sandra Singleton

One of the precious and treasured people in my life. Always a warm welcome into the family home at Onaero, the laughter and love, the music 'jam' sessions on a Sunday arvo. Cherished memories of a hard-working lady who will be missed by so many. Sleep gently in Jesus' arms until we meet again. Love, Donna

Always remembered (especially everytime I drive by the house) from my childhood. One of the most gracious and loveliest ladies ever. My condolences to all the family. Kindest regards Lois Murtagh (nee Hayward).

I have been fortunate to live near cousin Violet for the last 12 years and have missed seeing her while she has been staying with her family in recent times. I am privileged to have had Violet in my life and am so pleased my boys Ryan & Lyall got to know her too. We were helping to milk her cows & as we walked with her down the road we were almost running to keep up, when we left Lyall said "she is a machine", which is exactly like my mum Nola (must be in the genes). It is with regret mum & I will not be able to attend Violets service. Our condolences go to the family, we will always remember her kind heart & feijoas'.
