Wayne BRUYN Obituary

de BRUYN,
Wayne Anthony (George):
Sadly as a result of an accident on Monday 23rd January 2017, aged 52 years. Dearly loved son of Pieter (deceased) and Fay. Loved brother of Meishel de Bruyn and Lisa West, loved uncle of Perry West, and Merra Probyn, brother of David, Leo (deceased), Peter (deceased), and Ed (Holland). Uncle to Andrew, Stephen and Michael. All messages can be sent C/- 'The de Bruyn Family' PO Box 4016, New Plymouth, 4340.
'I cannot say, I will not say that he is dead, he is just away. With a tender smile and a wave of the hand, he has wandered into unknown land, and left us dreaming how unfair. It needs must be, since he lingers there. Think of him just the same I say, He is not dead, he is just away. Wayne was and we will always be proud of everything that he remains to be in our memories and nothing said or done would've ever changed that he has reserved himself a place in all our hearts'.
A celebration of Wayne's life will be held at the Chapel of W Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Monday 30th January 2017 at 2.00pm, followed by a private committal service.

To the De Bruyn family, Wayne will be forever be in our hearts. From when we first met him at our beef and sheep farm and the time he was working for us. A humble and gentle soul. The times he used to visit and telephone us after when we moved to Waitara too.He rang us on Christmas day 2016. He was always a part of our family. Our sons Jason aged 45 this year, Brendon 41 and Aaron 30 this year, remember him clearly. Love from Graeme and Jules Sarten
