William EDHOUSE Obituary
NZ426311 WOCL3 1BR Sqdn, 9BR Sqdn, 6FB Sqdn. Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday 28 March 2017. Aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Dorothy, treasured father and father-in-law of Christine and Michael, the late John, Bruce and Jill, Liz and Brian Stockman, Robert and Jane, very special father-in-law of Michael O'Reilly and the late Jean Edhouse. Cherished granddad of all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. All messages to the Edhouse family, c/- Vospers, 257 Devon Street East, New Plymouth. In lieu of flowers a donation to Hospice Taranaki may be left at the service. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Monday 3 April, at 1.00pm prior to him being laid to rest at Awanui Cemetery.

R.I.P grandad Edhouse. Not enough time was spent with you but i do remember the last time i was with you, was supposed to be a quick stop over but turned into over a 3 hour yarn and a tour through the inside and outside the house with beers in hand talking about the future and the past .
It was hard news hearing you had past especially while i was away at work offshore off the coast of darwin, Australia.

Grandad,Sure has been a privilege having you and nana in our life. Cup of tea and bikky in one hand and in the other hand a glass of grandads finest rum, a tour of the garden, house and shed, pretty special visits.
It was devastating to not be able to attend the service.
As the daughter of the late John Edhouse i am proud to add two great grandsons, Bevan and Cody and a beautiful great great gran daughter Bianca.
