William (Bill) Gard:
Bill was happy to be at home surrounded by family when he passed away peacefully on Friday, July 22, 2016. Deeply loved husband of the late Dawn and loved and treasured father and father-in-law of Graeme and Jen, Wendy and Ralph Broad, David and Nuala, and Jan and Robyn. Much loved and respected Dandy of James, Nick and Kit Marshall, Grant, Gina, Hannah, Dean, Alesha, Kate and Xander Broad, Jess, Wellington and Kian, Alana and Seth Marshall. Bill will be farewelled at 1pm, Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Oakura Hall, Main Rd, Oakura. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Rangimarie Hospice.

I was so sorry to be unable to attend Bill's funeral who with his Darling Dawn were my close friends for sixty years! He will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him.
