William MARTIN Obituary

Peacefully at Annie Brydon Lifecare on Tuesday 17th March 2026, aged 93 years. Devoted and loving husband of Valerie. Treasured and cherished Dad of Lynda and Colin, Derek and Leila, Ross (Marty) and Glenda. Dearly loved grandad of his six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to a service to commemorate Bill's life which will be held at St Johns Presbyterian Church, Hawera, on Monday 23rd March 2026 commencing at 1.00pm, after which the funeral will move to the Hawera Cemetery.

Val, Derek and family.
Sad to hear of Bill's passing.
Another of the old Arthur Brown Construction gang gone.
Not many of us left now who knew old AB himself.
I have had many fun times with Bill,including a trip up to Cape Reinga in my Morris Minor. Beverley and I both had many fun times with Bill and Val at Fire Brigade and Arthur Brown functions and I was honoured to be groomsman at their wedding.
