William Joseph (Bill):
Passed away at home on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Marie. Much loved dad and father-in-law of Sue and John, Hugh and Fiona, Vicky and Ray, Jane and Steve, Craig and Davina. Cherished poppa of Daniel and Alice, Thomas and Amanda, Fern; Jack, Tom, Connor, Hannah, Sean, Tadhg; and George. Adored pop of Wills, and Louis. Loved brother of Bet (dec), Jim and Jan, Vi (dec), Noel and Kath, John, Margaret and Gary. All messages to the McColl Family, Ball Road, RD 2, Patea. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at the Alton Coronation Hall on Monday, 8th October 2018, commencing at 11.00am, after which a private cremation will be held.

My sincere sympathies to Marie and to all the McColl family at the loss of Bill. While our lives crossed so many years ago, I have never forgotten the strength of Bills character and the wonderful legacy he created for his family. He was truly a remarkable person, that I was privileged to know.
