I just heard the news today and I am sorry to hear about Barry's passing. I have so many happy memories about staying at the Waterhouse's place as a child. I was unsure why I had those memories until my mother told me how much this whanau looked after me as a baby when mum was sick. I always wondered why I had such fond memories of the Waterhouse's. I wish to thank the Waterhouse for the care and love then gave me when I was so young. I wish you all the best during this time.

WATERHOUSE,
William Barry (Barry):
Sun beaches and bare
bums no more
BBQ beers, late nights and port
Home bottled goodness
the bitter, the sweet.
The woodwork admired
We still hold dear
Golfing meander par shots
plus more
Cruising loud jazzy blues
Bellowing with ominous stare
A twinkled eye for innocent fun
Lovingly remembered
