To Pauline's family and friends. Pauline was a School Dental Nurse with 19 others who joined the Service in Wellington in 1952. I roomed with Paulie throughout our training and she eventually married John who trained with my husband Peter at Radio Corporation New Zealand also in Wellington. Pauline and I by mischance flooded the YWCA Hostel in Woburn where we lived for 6 months and I remember her winning a collection of silver cups for sprint events at a huge Railway picnic we went to with Dorothy. I also remember a startling silver bikini she wore to the beach
Peter and I visited her in Dunedin and Blenheim and stayed at the house in Clyde. Did Susan and Ken know she danced on a table at the Back Benchers pub?
Oh Pauline we will miss you so much. You and I had so much fun together. You always sent me a birthday card. I was lucky enough to meet Susan and attend some of our Dental Nurse reunions with you. Mac and I have talked and dear Dorothy and I cried buckets together. Peter is going to ring Keith and let him know too. You are in all our hearts till the end.

My dear Judith,
I am so sorry for your loss, words cannot convey the feelings and emotions that occur when someone you have loved so dearly all your life is no longer at the end of a phone. When I met your mother, at your place, I was instantly aware of the loveliness she was surrounded with. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and the world is sadder for her passing. With deepest sympathy.

Dearest Pauline, I met you but once but instantly liked you and felt I had known you for a very long time. Your beloved daughter Judith has been my friend now for about two years and I am so glad for meeting you last year when you and Kaye came to stay at Judith and Tim's apartment on the Gold Coast. You will be missed by many Pauline. Heartfelt and deepest sympathy goes out to dearest Judith, Kaye and all the family and friends of a truly exquisite lady. Fondest Love, Susan from across the water.
