To the family of the late Laurie Bryant, Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Laurie was a real gentleman and good friend to us. We had some good times while working at Moller Johnson Motors and enjoyed a few games of bowls together. Greg & Raewyn Brady

I've met thousands of bowlers over the years. The vast majority are good people. A small group are undesirable. An even smaller group are at the top. Salt-of-the-earth, warm, genuine and a full appreciation that while its great to win at bowls, the comradeship and enjoyment of it all is much more important. For me, old timer Laurie - he was always youthful, however - was undoubtedly in that later group. A champion bloke and a pleasure to play bowls with. May the angels lead you into paradise, Laurie, where Gloria will be waiting.
