SWENKER, John T. ;Tjoe (P.Eng.)
Peacefully, after a short and courageous battle with cancer, at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Monday, April 26, 1999. Beloved husband of Brigitte. Devoted father of Ingrid and husband John Wass, Maureen and husband Scott Trueman, Tanya, Marc, Eric and Luc. Will be missed by brother Dolf Swenker and sister Isje (Amelie) Kulker. Will also be missed by numerous friends and family in Holland, France and Tahiti. Friends may call at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, (Woodbine north of Hwy #7), Markham for visitation on Friday, April 30 from 7-9 p.m. Service at in the Chapel Saturday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
