David Brewer Obituary

David Allen Brewer, 59, went to be with our Lord on April 18, 2022. He was born on Dec. 25,1962, in Little Rock to Rev. Dr. Simon David and Linda (Oliver) Brewer. Preceded in death by grandmother, Edna M. Healan; grandfather, John Orvin Brewer; and grandmother, Thelma A. (Humble) Brewer. Surviving loved ones: parents, Rev. Dr. Simon David and Linda Brewer; beloved son, Joseph David Brewer; sister, Lois (Keith) Smith; loving  niece, Karra (Jacob) Pracht; great-niece and -nephew, Larkin and Jackson Pracht; and many extended family and many dear friends. David was a hard worker and had many businesses. He proudly owned David's U-Haul and Auto Sales. He has been number 1 in the state for U-Haul the past 10 years. He was a wonderful musician and singer. There wasn't an instrument that he couldn't just pick up and start playing. He was a devoted father, son, brother and uncle. He was a devoted Christian who opened his home to be a church for Faith Full Gospel Church. Visitation held 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, with funeral service, officiated by Rev. Justin Crain and Rev. Carlton Brown, following at 11 a.m. at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Internment following at Fairplay Cemetery.
