Barbara Sherwood Obituary

Barbara L. Sherwood, 80, of Hartford, OH passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Concord Care Center of Hartford. She was born February 13, 1945 in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of the late Marion Hickle and the late Florence Irene Brown. She married James R. Sherwood on December 14, 1968. She was a dedicated homemaker. Barbara was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a sister, Vicki Hanacek of Anderson, SC. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Sherwood, and son, Eric Sherwood. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. The family requests that material contributions be made to the First Presbyterian church (256 Mahoning Ave. NW Warren, OH 44483), in her memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

I am saddened by the loss of my Aunt Barb. The last few years were difficult for her, and I am grateful for Jim's family and her friends who offered her love, care & support. May fond memories of Barb provide comfort during this difficult time.
