Cecelia McNatt Obituary

CORTLAND – Cecelia S. McNatt, age 82, entered into eternal rest Monday, July 21, 2025 at Continuing Health Care at the Ridge. She was born July 3, 1943 in Greensboro, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Daniels) Gilbert. A free spirit, Cecelia loved to go on long rides, pointing in one direction or another and saying, "let's go." Her pointing got her and Gail to forty-nine states in addition to Mexico and Canada. She had worked at Central Florida Hospital. Precious memories of Cecelia live on with her beloved husband of nearly sixty-three years, Gail F. McNatt, whom she married August 8, 1962; three sons: David Matthew McNatt of Florida, Daniel Edward McNatt (Holly) of Warren, and Richard Franklin McNatt (Lisa) of Mogadore; seven grandchildren: Elaina, McKenzie (Casey), David, Danielle, Monica, Violet, and Charlotte; and two sisters, Mary Gency of Lordstown and Betty Ganacy (Kenny) of Carmichael, Pennsylvania. Preceding her in death are her parents; her sister, Barbara Guritza; and her brother, Ed Gilbert. There are no public services or calling hours.
