Paul Satolli Obituary

Paul Anthony Satolli, 66, passed away peacefully at his home, Thursday, July 24th 2025, following a courageous two-year battle with cancer. As with all other aspects of his life, he handled this challenge with dignity and grace. Born on August 12, 1958, in Warren, Ohio, Paul was the devoted son of Philip and Harriet Satolli. He graduated from Howland High School in 1976. After briefly attending college, Paul chose to support his father's carpet business while pursuing his dream of becoming an electrical engineer, a goal he fulfilled through dedication and passion. Paul took great pride in his work and was proud of his career at Taylor-Winfield Technologies. He retired in 2024 due to his illness, still determined to eventually return to the job he loved. In addition to his fulfilling career as an engineer, Paul had a deep passion for gardening and winemaking. His well-equipped home workshop allowed him to tackle any home, auto or motorcycle repair. He also enjoyed reading and music. Above all, Paul treasured quiet moments spent with his wife, whether cooking together, sharing meals, or visiting wineries. He took immense joy in being a grandpa to his two granddaughters who brought him endless happiness and pride. His gentle spirit, warm hugs, and unwavering support will forever be a part of his legacy. Memories of Paul will be cherished by his loving wife, Diana of 16 years; daughters, Kailey (Richard) Kelsh of Howland and Amy (Marios) Liakaris of Niles; siblings, Melissa Satolli of Middlefield, Philip Satolli of Cleveland Heights, Richard (Ericka) Baim of Hillsdale, NY; Brother-in-law, Adam Waldeck of New Springfield; beloved grandchildren, Brooklyn and Lea Kelsh; mother and father-in-law Gloria and Darrell Waldeck of Warren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. They will all remember him for his work ethic, intelligence and loyalty as well as his kind and gentle nature. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and an infant brother. Per Paul's wishes there will be no formal services. Instead, we invite friends and family to join us August 2nd, 2025 from 1:00-4:00 at Leon's Sports Bar & Grill in Howland to celebrate his life, share memories, and honor the impact he had on all of us. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

I met Paul through my now husband Dan over 35 years ago and I fell in love with him instantly and quickly became friends and through the years I came to think of him as family.
Paul was a kind gentle soul who always thought of others he was famous for leaving gifts on your door step, I remember one Christmas we woke up to a iced winter wonderland I could barely get the door open and low and behold there was a bottle of wine lord knows how he got it there but that was Paul.
There are too many great memories to list but this one has stayed with me always.
He used to come in and see me on Friday's when I worked at the ual and this one day he came in so excited, he told me I was the first to know that he got Diana a ring I was so happy and honored that he shared that with me first.
We were so happy when he started dating Diana and now our family would be extended.
So RIP my dear friend and rest assured that Dan and I will be there for Diana and do our best to comfort her in the tough days and nights to come, until you are reunited.
You will be sadly missed but never ever be forgotten.
Rest easy love you Francine
