With the deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our family's amazing mother and grandmother, Kathy Anderson. She ascended to the heavenly realm at 74 years old on May 17, 2025 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
Kathy was born on August 15, 1950 in Ventura California, and is survived by one brother, Douglas Hagar, two children, Logan Desrochers and David Desrochers, by blood and bond 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Kathy had a big family, and she enjoyed celebrating holidays together, especially Christmas. She was married to her beloved heavenly husband Timothy Anderson for 42 blissful years. She was a loyal faithful strong supportive military wife. Kathy enjoyed the military life because it took her to beautiful places worldwide and taught her many things. She lived a long life full of passion for creative endeavors including poem writing, dancing, coloring, baking, and ceramics. She painted life into her works of art and shared those beautiful pieces with family and friends.
Kathy was a wonderful mother who loved her children deeply and unconditionally and always tried her best to save the day even if you were grown. She loved being a grandmother and a great grandmother because it brought her immense joy
Kathy was a nurturer at heart and loved to help in any way she could, even complete strangers benefited from her unwavering kindness. loved volunteering for different causes including the Soldiers Angels. She lived a life full of wonder and triumph no matter the challenge she overcame and shined gracefully.. She was a strong true matriarch and will be missed tremendously.
