Lucinda J. "Cindy" Altman, 74, of Enon Valley passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at her residence.
Born January 27, 1951, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late William Herman Sr. and Dora May Wigley Kumrow.
Cindy graduated from Mohawk in 1968. She had a 25-year career at Liberty Mutual and served as the secretary of the Bethel Church for 30 years. She attended Bessemer Presbyterian Church and was a member of the former Madison Avenue Christian Church in Mahoningtown. Her interests included traveling, going on cruises, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years Richard C. "Rick" Altman; brother, William H. "Bill" (Ann) Kumrow Jr. of New Castle; niece, Ashley Kumrow of New Castle; mother-in-law, Virginia Altman of Enon Valley, and great-niece, Arianna Zarlingo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Richard L. Altman.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday July 16, 2025 from 2:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 5:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. Rev. Jerry Dodds of Bethel Church will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
