Margaret Evans Obituary

Margaret Elizabeth Evans was born April 4, 1942 in Plunkettville, Oklahoma to Oscar Mills and Caldonia "Callie" (Todd) Benton. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the age of 82.
A funeral service is planned for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 14, at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery.
Throughout her life, Margaret worked as a waitress and then ran an in-home daycare. She enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible and other books, and square dancing. Margaret was also a skilled seamstress and enjoyed sewing her own square-dancing dresses. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Joe Seely; and brother: Charles Mills, Edwin Mills, and Claude Mills.
Survivors include her children: Tammy Casteel and husband Robby of Duncan, Twila Nelson of Pace, Florida; grandchildren: Wade Lyn Lisbon Jr., Brittany Lisbon, Kristie Lisbon, Randy Seely, Tori Seely, Lily Lindsay, Nicole Williams, Savannah Williams; and great-grandchildren: Destiny Savage, Rylee Richards, Jalynn Lisbon, Josiah Lisbon, Coop Lindsay, and Rose Lindsay.
