WATERBURY- Timothy Moriarty, age 73, passed away on Jan. 27, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury after a long illness.

 

Tim was born in Waterbury, son of the late John and Madeline (Fainelli) Moriarty. Timothy graduated from Crosby High and then went on to serve his country aboard the USS Midway. On his return Tim relocated to Folly Beach, SC where he lived for many years until returning to Waterbury to raise his son. He was employed at Walters Auto Parts and retired from Envipco. Tim truly enjoyed fishing, playing drums, music of every genre and vintage cars.   He was a true friend and a devoted father and grandfather.

 

Timothy is survived by his sisters, Theresa Moriarty and Joy Moriarty Bartholomew, his son Sean Moriarty,  grandsons  Noah and Zachary Francisco, and  nieces  Chris Carmody and Marta.

 

A Graveside Service will be held for Timothy on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, East Main Street, Waterbury. All those attending are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. There are no calling hours. Loving kindness is always welcome, and it only takes a moment to offer a message of condolence or words of comfort or share a memory of someone important to you with your family and friends.
