I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Joyce since 1990. We became quick friends and have enjoyed conversations and fellowship over all these years. She had a tremendous work ethic, loved people, adored her family and when I would ask how she was doing, she would respond, "I think I am pretty hip for a little old lady." And, she really was! She was always so put together and was stunning in her Red Hat Society outfits. This sweet, intelligent lady could do anything! She was a wonderful registrar and bookkeeper at Robinson and Armwood High Schools. She would become the expert that new bookkeepers in the district would call on for advice and training. She will be missed by her family and all who loved her.

Such a lovely woman, always so professional and at the same time so caring. Loved seeing and speaking to her at work any time I had the opportunity. She made the school a better place for all.

Joyce was a devoted friend for many years. Not a day went by that we didn't talk on the phone. We were separated by miles, but we were close in spirit. Her sense of humor was infectious, and her love for her children was fierce. Mark and Tamra were her world. I will miss the amazing and loving friend that she was to me. May her memory be eternal.

Joyce and I worked together for a number of years at Robinson High School in Tampa. She was the very helpful and friendly records clerk there and I was the school psychologist. I always enjoyed Joyce and her sense of humor. After retiring, we got together for lunch a few years ago and we were Facebook friends. Joyce's family has my condolences. I know she'll be greatly missed.
